The Critic
One of my friends asked me to write an introduction to a play that she and her friend are submitting to NY Fringe. It was a lot of fun :) CRITIC: (sigh) There is a very fine line between post post modern brilliance and crap. As a critic, it is my job to tell you, the ignorant masses, about which pieces of theatre are which. I regret to inform you that the show you are about to see is utter crap....

I'M OBSESSED WITH SARAH RUHL'S ORLANDO.
Me too. I’m also obsessed with Sarah Ruhl in general. Also the Virginia Woolf novel Orlando is phenomenal, Ruhl is a genius, but she took a lot of amazing lines right from Woolf. They make a great team. Also also, I saw Francesca Faridany on the street yesterday and I had a total fan moment. I would have said something to her if she hadn’t been on the phone!
